Philippe Klaus as Peer Gynt

Endangered Productions is thrilled to introduce Philippe Klaus in the title role of our 2022 major production Peer Gynt.

Philipe Klaus

Philippe marked his feature film debut in Wolf Creek 2. He has worked on several Australian television series including Rake, Home and Away, Brock (TV movie), and the ABC miniseries Devil’s Dust. Other feature film credits include Dance Academy, The Comeback, Thicker than Water and the independent feature Into the Waves.

On stage he originated the role of Rob in Mum, Me and the IED. For the Old Fitz theatre he has appeared in Bull, Babes in the Woods (Don’t Look Away) and Flame Peas. Other stage credits include Crime and Punishment (Secret House) and The Hiding Place at ATYP’s 'Under the Wharf' program.

For Adelaide Fringe Festival and Melbourne Fringe Festival he toured his one man show Down Down Lucifer, and also appeared in Battlers and Dreamers for Sydney Fringe Festival. He has also worked with Bar’d Work on their first season of Much Ado About Nothing.

Philippe also works as a voice artist for commercials, animation and audiobooks. He is an acting graduate from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
