Jeffrey Lock

Endangered Productions is delighted to have Jeffrey Lock as a regular performer in our Company shows. In 2025, he plays Abbate Cospicuo in Arlecchino (Harlequin) - part of our Bernstein and Busoni double bill.  In the 2023 production, It's So Last Century, Jeffrey played a troublesome vagrant in Carl Orff's Die Kluge and a party guest in Introductions and Goodbyes.

Jeffery Lock began his professional singing career with The Australian Opera Chorus in 1983 -1986.

He sang in Bielefeld City Opera Chorus, West Germany from 1986-89 and returned to The Australian Opera (Opera Australia) from 1995 until retirement in 2018.

His other profession has been and still is teaching English as a second language. During Covid, he taught students in Asia online with a Melbourne-based college and later began a contract with The University of Sydney.

Jeffrey's interests are singing, cinema and keeping fit by doing regular walks with Steve Walter and Robert Mitchell as available.
