In 2025, Bianca De Nicola designed the wonderful costumes for our Bernstein & Busoni performance of 'Arlecchino' after being Props Manager for It's So Last Century in 2023. Bianca's experience overseas and now in Australia make her a very valued member of the Endangered Productions behind-the-scenes creative team.
Bianca comes from an arts-focused family in Argentina, a country which she says "has a big creative world and a romantic sensibility".
Bianca was excited to bring her multi-generational creative heritage as Props Manager in It's So Last Century - her first foray into theatre in Australia.
In Bernstein & Busoni, Christine encouraged Bianca to expand her skills from props to costume design for Arlecchino, and supported her in successfully applying for a Create NSW grant. The stunning costumes that resulted speak for themselves.
A lifelong sewer, Bianca is most inspired by costume-making’s storytelling and character-driven focus. Her Arlecchino designs capture the production’s colourful, flamboyant energy, with each costume expressing individuality while connecting seamlessly to the show’s vibrant visual world.
Having participated in performance art projects, theatre productions, and events as a special-effects makeup artist overseas, she is happy to share her skills and passions with Endangered Productions in Australia.
Her hands-on approach and talents in sculpting, sewing and makeup have always been a great part of her life. She still explores them through her personal projects.
Bianca looks forward to honing these skills, learning from industry professionals and finding out how to succeed in the world of theatre.
Bianca also has a business that sells her handmade jewellery designs called Madam Mango.
