Endangered Productions is so pleased to welcome the wonderful Alison Lee as our Movement Director for our 2022 major production, Peer Gynt.
“Just wiggle it!” has been Alison’s catchphrase.
As a teacher, performer and director of creative movement she has drawn on a variety of arts practices, that together with the conviction that everyone can dance, has seen her develop a passion for dance education.
Alison has lectured in movement at Macquarie University and the Department of Education, presented and performed at conferences and international festivals in Canada, UK and Korea.
As founder and director of Get a Move On dance group in Cairns she creates original pieces with dancers of all ages and backgrounds. Her feisty street theatre character, Doris the Cosmic Cleaning Lady, is seen at festivals and events.
