In the lead up to our fundraiser performance of J S Bach's 'Coffee Cantata', the cast decided to get up close and personal with the subject matter of the performance. And a good time was had by all!
After our first rehearsal our team strolled to the Harold Park Hotel for a meal – and to research the pleasures of their ‘Expresso Martinis.’ Our expert adviser, the barman Michael, said these cocktails were very popular with millenials – and everyone else come to think of it!
This musical piece is an absolute treasure. It's not often a 17th Century genius composer writes about the perils of coffee.
